Dr. Jeffrey Bergeson
Jeffrey Bergeson, OD
Dr. Bergeson joined the Mohave Eye Center team in July of 2007. He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon with honors. At Mohave Eye Center Dr. Bergeson enjoys a full scope of practice from comprehensive vision exams, to specialty contact lenses and treatment of acute and chronic pathology.
Dr. Bergeson is a local to the Kingman area, graduating from Kingman High School. His wife Annika, a Family Nurse Practitioner, is also a Kingman grad. The couple returned back to the Kingman area because they consider Mohave County a great place to raise kids and was excited by all the new growth. Both Dr. Bergeson and his wife love to travel and see the world. Recently they have been on short term mission trips to Ecuador and El Salvador. Although not fluent, Dr. Bergeson is working on his Spanish which serves him well on these trips. Dr. Bergeson has two children named Brooke and Beckett.
Dr. Andrew Ochiltree
Andrew Ochiltree, OD
Dr. Ochiltree (AH-kul-tree) joined Mohave Eye Center in October of 2011. Dr. Ochiltree attended the University of Wyoming where he earned a B.S. in Zoology and Physiology. He graduated with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2007. He spent four years practicing in Casper, Wyoming prior to joining Mohave Eye Center. Dr. Ochiltree is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arizona Optometric Association. He is also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. He enjoys all aspects of primary care optometry, but has special interests in contact lenses, ocular disease, pre- and post-operative care, and dry eye management.
Dr. Ochiltree was lucky enough to fool his beautiful wife, Tiffany, into marrying him in 2003 and they were blessed to welcome a son, Finnegan, in March of 2010 and a daughter, Adelaide, in December of 2013. Dr. Ochiltree loves being outside and is overjoyed to be in sunny, warm Arizona after spending most of his life in cold and windy Wyoming winters.
Dr. Ryan Widdison
Ryan Widdison, OD
Dr. Widdison joined Mohave Eye Center in 2015 and is excited to be a part of the team. He did his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Dr. Widdison enjoys all aspects of optometry and is especially interested in fitting contact lenses, managing ocular disease, and performing primary care exams.
Dr. Widdison was born and raised across the state line in Palmdale, CA. After living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for two years he is conversational in Portuguese and just started learning Spanish. He is married to Jennifer, a social worker, and they have twin daughters, Hailey and Violet. They love to play tennis, read a good book, and play around at the park together. After moving around the country, Dr. Widdison and his family are happy to call Bullhead City home.
Dr. Nathan Degn
Nathan Degn, OD
Dr. Nathan Degn was born and raised in Springville Utah. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah and his doctorate in Optometry from Arizona College of Optometry at Midwestern University, in Glendale, Arizona. He completed internships at Mohave Eye Center, Arizona College of Optometry and the Eye Foundation of Utah. After graduation Dr. Degn worked in Utah for a time in both retail and private practice, but he missed the opportunity to follow and treat disease like Mohave Eye Center had afforded him, so he was very grateful to become part of the Mohave Eye Center team in November of 2018. Dr. Degn has experience in primary care, contact lenses, and ocular disease as well as interest in scleral contact lenses.
Dr. Degn lives in Kingman with his beautiful wife Rachel and three children. When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as running, riding his motorcycle, working on cars and spending time outdoors.
