Eye Exams
Regular eye examinations are essential to maintaining eye health. Children should have their first complete eye exam between 2 and 4 years of age to help determine whether they need glasses for schoolwork and to verify that their eye are healthy. Adults 65 and older, or younger adults with medical conditions, should have dilated eye exams annually to check for cataracts or other vision problems. Most people should have their eyes examined every 1-2 years, as recommended by their eye doctor.
Testing
In addition to the equipment and skill needed for regular eye exams, the doctors and staff at Mohave Eye Center keep up with all the latest technology available for special testing and treatment of eye conditions. These tests are available at our clinic:

Insurance
Mohave Eye Center participates in many insurance plans including Medicare and most commercial plans. If you have questions about your specific coverage, or concerns about billing, please contact our Cerbat Billing Services at (928) 757-2560. Since most insurance companies consider Refractive Surgery (Laser Vision Correction) an elective surgical procedure, it is usually not covered; however, some plans offer their members a discount. Please check your coverage or contact one of our insurance coordinators to check on your specific plan.
